Nationally Accredited CertificationTraining and/or Assessment is available for the following National Occupational Health and Safety Commission (NOHSC)
Important note: Our Company does NOT have the machinery to conduct training or assessment upon. You must have access to the machinery (either through your workplace or your contacts) or be prepared to hire it. We have a location that can be used at Forest Hill (near Gatton). Tickets from Overseas cannot be ‘changed over’, the procedure below applies.
As of 1 July, 2007 the Queensland Government (WHSQ) changed the licensing system requirements.
-
You now have to prove that you have undergone a Training Course. Our Company can assist in providing a training course at your location or ours.
-
You need to enroll with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). Our Company is an accredited RTO.
-
You have to prepare a Training Plan which outlines all the competencies required to be covered. Once you are enrolled with our Company you will be provided with an approved Training Plan.
-
You have to prove you have completed 40+ hours (see above tables for nominal hours) supervised operational experience by completing a Training Record Log Book which is signed off by a suitably ticketed supervisor. Once you are enrolled with our Company you will be provided with an approved Training Record Log Book.
-
Then you undergo a Written Assessment (which now requires a 100% pass rate) and a Practical Assessment. We can assist in providing suitable study information.
-
We send the Assessment Report and documentation to WHSQ along with the fee and WHSQ send you the ticket.
